Australian-cars

The all-new 2010 HSV E-Series 2 range has been launched to reassert its reputation as one of Australia's most popular and affordable performance car ranges. Having undergone a mid-life upgrade, the HSV E2 features more aggressive styling that sets it even further apart from its Holden cousins.

Taking centre stage is the Pontiac G8 inspired twin bonnet scoops, LED daytime running lights and a dominant looking front grille for the sportier models. The more luxury-oriented cars in the range such as the Senator and Grange get a regular bonnet.

The tried and tested 317 kW 6.2-litre V8 returns in the E2 but with modifications that reduce fuel consumption by up to 4.5 per cent while the top-of-the-range "hero car", the HSV GTS, gets a 325 kW 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine.
