Welcome to the website of Lucan Model Car Club. Our aim is to provide a good and competitive atmosphere for racers and also put the fun into model car racing. Our race days are relaxed and enjoyable.At the club we race both 1/10th Electric Touring cars and 1/27th Mini-Z racers.

Lucan Model Car Club was set up 6 years ago to cater for 1/10th scale electric touring car racing during the summer season. Our aim when setting up the club was to put the fun back into model car racing while also keeping good competitive racing.

We cater for 1/10 scale electric touring cars which we race on smooth tarmac during the summer months, then indoors on polished wooden floor during the winter months. Recently we have introduced a new class of racing, the Mini-Z Racers which we race on a Kyosho purpose made track. The Mini-Z’s are 1/28th scale which fits in the palm of your hand.

For the winter season we will be racing on a Sunday afternoon in The Mill Centre, Celbridge from 2pm to 5.30pm.
